The Hunger Games:

Student Senate is also holding another event but instead of the teachers being the participants its the students. This will be similar to Minute to Win it games but it will be called The Hunger Games. This will be held during advisory on November 1st. It will be 3 dollars per student or 20 dollars for your entire class. Convince your classmates to pitch in money so your entire class is able to watch!

Lip Sync Battle:

The student senate is bringing back the Lip Sync Battle for the third year in a row! on November 6th during advisory, come pay to watch all your favorite teachers battle against each other. It is 3 dollars a person and 20 dollars a class. Try and convince your classmates to pitch in a dollar so your whole class can go!

If you and others are interested, there is a student volleyball tournament this Saturday at West. Go see the main office for sign-ups. Teams will need to bring $50 or 50 can (or a combination of the two). If you want to watch, there will be an entry fee of $5 or 5 non-perishable food items. Come to support your friends and the Student Hunger Drive!

There are still two more opportunities to duct-tape teachers for the student hunger drive. Meet the student senate outside of the library during lunch on October 23rd and October 30th to get these teachers hung up! $1 donation per strip of duct tape. Our next opportunity for this is today with Gillund and Paulson.

Congratulations to the girls' swim for their win against Tipton last night with a score of 66-53. Great job ladies!

This week is West's Powderpuff game! Come see the Nightmare at Brady Street on Friday at 6pm. Entry fee for watchers is $5 or 5 non-perishable food items. Shirts for the event will be available for purchase after school at the concession stands for $15. Come support your upperclassmen and the Student Hunger Drive!

There is no Esports after school on Thursday Oct 24.

Mr. Schutte has designed posters for football that showcase some of our senior players.  They can be purchased in his office, located in the Guidance office.  These posters are a limited edition and very unique.  Be sure and check them out-$5 a piece

Falcons! The publications programs (yearbook and newspaper) are selling t-shirts and sweatshirts with a rare West design!  Don't miss your chance to order this merch!  Visit the publications Instagram @davwestpublications for information.

!  The yearbook has a page and a fourth of space left for senior ads!  This is your LAST chance to purchase a spot for your senior.  If you missed the original deadline, this is the perfect opportunity to make up for it.  Ads range from $25-$175. It will be first come, first serve...so get your info to Mrs. Choate ASAP!

Join us for FCCLA.  Our first project will be gingerbread houses for the Festival of Trees.  See Kaha and join the FCCLA Google Classroom for meeting details. 

Attention Falcons! Wednesday, the Student Senate will be having another duct-tape event during the lunch hours. Donating $1 will give you one strip of tape to tape a teacher to the wall. Tomorrow, Gillund and Paulson will be up on the wall! Come see the Student Senate just outside of the library to participate.
